A large portion of recruitments run through On3 National Recruiting and Transfer Portal inside Hayes Fawcett these days. He creates the vast majority of top group, commitment, and transfer graphics for football players across the high school and college ranks. When he speaks, it’s a good idea to listen and he posted on X/Twitter on Tuesday that big things are on the horizon for Georgia.

Georgia recruiting is about to go on a HEATER,” Fawcett tweeted. “It’s already been a great month for the Bulldogs, but they’re about to turn it up a notch.”

It’s not hard to see a large portion of what he’s talking about. The Bulldogs have six targets deciding in the next five days. One will happen this evening when Valdosta defensive end Corey Howard chooses between Georgia and Florida.

Another announcement is coming tomorrow as Colquitt County tailback Jae Lamar will make his college decision known. Georgia is battling Miami and Clemson for the speedster’s signature.

Cambridge wideout Craig Dandridge will take his turn on Thursday and the Bulldogs appear to have a large lead in his recruitment right now. Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, and Tennessee pushed hare for the four-star prospect but the momentum is wearing red and black at the moment.

A trio of guys are set to make their commitments this weekend. Kamehameha Secondary (Honolulu, Hawaii) offensive tackle Malakai Lee will decide between Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Texas. The Bulldogs have gotten him on campus twice in the past two months with one of those being an unofficial visit under two weeks ago. He was on campus for almost four days.

North Shore (Houston, Texas) defensive back Chace Calicut is also set to decide that day. He’s down to Georgia, Michigan, and Texas. The Bulldogs find themselves in a similar battle for a top defensive lineman in James Johnson (Northwestern; Miami, Fla.) They’re battling Miami and Texas for the top 100 overall talent.

In addition to those players, two more elite targets are set to decide early next month. Georgia has a shot to landfive-star Bowdon tight end Kaiden Prothro. Florida, Texas, and Auburn are also in the mix with a decision date set for July 12. Chaminade Madonna (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) running back Derrek Cooper, who is considering Georgia, Miami and Ohio State, among others, will also announce that day.
