Georgia releases depth chart ahead of showdown with Texas

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia is all set to take on its third opponent of the season that is currently tanked inside the top 10. Texas is in town for the first time ever. Kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. ET on ABC, but before that goes down, DawgsHQ is offering a look at the depth chart per the official flip card.

Quarterback

*** Young will not play in this game. He has been out since suffering a broken bone in his lower leg in the 43-35 win over Ole Miss. Georgia has turned to Thomas as its starting X-receiver in each of the past two games.

*** Taylor is still out after suffering a broken collarbone prior to Georgia’s first game in October. He could return to action by the end of the regular season.

*** Luckie was hit hard at the end of the first half in Starkville and didn’t play the rest of the way. Georgia listed him as probable on Wednesday but, on Thursday, he wasn’t on the availability report at all. He’s good to go for this one.
