Georgia releases depth chart for Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. — No. 5 Georgia is on the road for Week 11. It’s the Bulldogs’ third and final true road game of the 2025 season, and they’re taking on Mississippi State. The Maroon Bulldogs won their first SEC game in two years last time out, and they’ve been scrappy (and then some) in big games this year. *** Thomas will be the guy at this position as Young is out for the rest of the season. After going into the Ole Miss game as Georgia’s leading receiver, Young sustained a broken bone in his lower leg. Thomas got the start against Florida last week.

*** Dontrell Glover has started the past six games at right guard. Glover has also rotated in at left guard. Gaston, who serves as Georgia’s sixth man, has played both right tackle and right tackle in recent weeks.

*** Greene missed most of the first half of the season with a back injury. He has started the past two games at right tackle. Georgia has used a rotation at that spot with Gaston spelling Greene at times. This is the first time all year that Gaston has appeared on the depth chart at either tackle position.

*** Jones is the lone Bulldog questionable for this game. He sustained an elbow injury in the win over Florida. The final availability report comes out 90 minutes before kickoff. There’s a good chance that Georgia lists him as a game-time decision.

*** Bolden was ejected in the Florida game for targeting. Since that ejection took place in the first half, he will be available for Georgia the whole way against Mississippi State.

*** Jones has missed the past two games with a foot injury. He’ll be out again this week. Georgia has used Thomas to fill his spot but with Branch stepping in for Bolden against Florida and playing well, he could also see some action in this game.
