The Georgia Show: A flip before the fire begins?

Georgia pulls a big SEC flip
Shadarius Toodle is among the best names in the Class of 2026, and now, that name is on the Georgia commit list for the cycle. The Dawgs flipped the four-star inside linebacker away from the Auburn Tigers on Sunday, giving Kirby Smart and Glenn Schumann their first linebacker pledge this year. Sporting a 6-foot-3, 220 pound frame, it would be more than understandable if Toodle’s frame called to mind that of current Green Bay Packer Quay Walker for you. Can the Bulldogs pull that same production from the Mobile, Alabama-based standout? They will certainly be hoping so. Additionally, what’s going on at Auburn? We spent some time discussing that, as well.
Are the Bulldogs set to catch fire?
With Toodle’s commitment, Georgia may well be positioned for a run this week, as several decisions are set to be announced in short order. Monday will bring the news of where standout EDGE Khamari Brooks will land. Tuesday’s attention turns to emerging defensive lineman Corey Howard. Wednesday is a double dose of news in running back Jae Lamar and wideout Craig Dandridge set to make the call. Friday will deliver the news of where offensive lineman Malakai Lee and cornerback Chace Calicut plan to play their ball. How will the week shake out for the Dawgs? It’s set to be a class-defining stretch for the cycle.
Where will this Georgia class be ranked?
There’s still much to be decided, from new additions to the group to later rerankings, but we may have a strong idea of how this class will shape up by the end of this week. Can the Dawgs make a run at the No. 1 spot, all things considered? We look at the names that may set the bar for Georgia this go-round, plus those names which may find themselves in the reranking conversation before all is said and done in the end. It’s going to one worth watching in a major way.
