The Georgia Show: Talking tight ends and early spring practice observations

Georgia spring practice is well underway, and media members have been able to see two practice sessions. Among the early talking points – the tight ends.
“He’s been throwing a few wrinkles of his own in there,” Georgia’s Brock Bowers said of new offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. “He’s been doing a good job. We’ve kept most of the same terms, and he’s made it an easy transition for all of us. I like what he’s been doing. He’s thrown a few wrinkles in there that I like.”
Palmer Thombs and Jake Rowe break down what it is that we think Bowers meant by that – a consistent verbiage to what Kirby Smart said earlier this spring. Then, continuing on the topic of tight ends, what does the injury to Pearce Spurlin mean to his development before Jake Reuse joins the show to discuss Georgia’s newest five star – tight end Landen Thomas.
Rowe and Thombs have been out on the practice fields too. Each shares an early takeaway on both sides of the ball – focused primarily on the newcomers and a position that’s vastly improved.
