Georgia has filled a couple of holes in its offensive support staff with experienced coaches. Persons with knowledge of the situation tell DawgsHQ that former Texas A&M and Memphis offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey has joined the Bulldogs in an off-field role.

The same is true for ex-Clemson offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter. UGASports.com was first to report the addition of Streeter. Both coaches have extensive experience working with quarterbacks, especially Streeter.

Streeter was the offensive coordinator and play caller at Clemson last season. He was let go as the Tigers hired Garrett Riley at season’s end. The Tigers won two National Championships with Streeter coaching quarterbacks as he helped develop Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence.

Streeter, 46, also played quarterback at Clemson from 1995-1999. He began his coaching career in 2002 at Charleston Southern. He spent two years there before taking a graduate assistant role at Clemson in 2004. After two years in that role, he moved on to Liberty where he spent six seasons, working with quarterbacks the entire time and coordinating the offense from 2009 to 2011.

Dabo Swinney hired him to his Clemson staff in 2015 where he worked with Watson for two years. Streeter helped recruit Lawrence to Clemson and coached the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for three seasons.

Dickey has coached all over the country. He has worked at three different SEC programs, Texas A&M, LSU, and Mississippi State. He has also made stops at Utah State, New Mexico, and Texas State.

He was the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M for the past five season but in title only. Jimbo Fisher has served as the play caller for each of those seasons. He worked with quarterbacks in his first four seasons in College Station. Dickey coached tight ends for the Aggies in 2022.

Georgia adds Dickey and Streeter to fill spots on the support staff left by Buster Faulkner‘s departure and Mike Bobo‘s promotion. Faulkner is now the offensive coordinator at Georgia Tech. Bobo went from analyst to offensive coordinator after Todd Monken was hired to the same position by the Baltimore Ravens.
