2026 long snapper Jackson Tolle announces commitment to Indiana

Indiana continues its busy month of June with yet another commitment — this time from highly rated long snapper Jackson Tolle, he announced yesterday evening.
Tolle, a 6-foot, 215-pound native of Fishers, plays his high school ball at Hamilton Southeastern, giving the Hoosiers another in-state recruit. According to Tolle’s social media, he initially visited IU on March 27 and was back in Bloomington for the Spring Game on April 17.
TheHoosier.com was able to confirm that Tolle committed to the Hoosiers as a preferred walk-on.
Tolle received his offer from Indiana on June 13, with that being his first official offer despite Tolle visiting other top programs like Alabama and Ohio State. According to Tolle, he was in contact with Special Teams Coordinator Grant Cain and Special Teams Analyst Rob McInerney.
Duke was the only other school to offer Tolle, and it didn’t take long for the Indiana native to become the fifth in-state commit in the class of 2026, with his commitment post reading: “Staying home.”

Recruitment for specialists like Tolle is a bit of a different process, as they aren’t rated the same way offensive or defensive players are, and they don’t get the same spotlight many other players do. That doesn’t mean a player like Tolle won’t make a difference on the field — he’s considered one of the top long snappers in the country, according to Kohl’s Snapping Camps.
Kohl’s specializes in evaluating kickers, punters and long snappers, so Tolle’s No. 2 national ranking among long snappers in the 2026 class carries significant weight — and Indiana fans should be extremely pleased with his commitment.
Here’s Kohl’s evalutation: Tolle is a rare prospect as he is already one of the best in the country and still has room to develop. Tolle finished with the top overall charting score in the country amongst over 200 snappers at both the 2024 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp and the 2024 Winter Showcases. At the 2025 Kohl’s Underclassman Challenge, he won the final snapping competition by drilling a .66-second snap time right through the middle of the target. Not only is he one of the best snappers in America but he also has run a 4.98-second 40-yard dash.
Check out some of Tolle’s highlights below.
