Indiana football safety Byron Baldwin Jr. remains sideline for the Hoosiers entering Saturday’s road clash at No. 3 Oregon, per the Big Ten’s availability report.

Baldwin, a true freshman out of Baltimore, Maryland, is now set to miss his sixth consecutive game to begin the 2025 season.

Early in the season, head coach Curt Cignetti labeled Baldwin as “day-to-day.” Prior to Indiana’s road trip two weeks ago to Iowa City to take on Iowa, Cignetti was asked for an update on Baldwin’s timetable to return from the injury that has kept him sidelined to begin his collegiate career.

Cignetti said “I’ll know more today,” but declined to add any further detail as to what is keeping one of the highest-ranked recruits in program history on the sideline.

Also listed on Indiana’s availability report ahead of Saturday’s road contest was safety Bryson Bonds and running back Lee Beebe. Bonds, who suffered a knee injury in the Week 1 win over the Monarchs, and Beebe, who suffered a “non-contact knee injury” earlier in the season against Indiana State, will both miss the rest of the season due to their respective injures.

There were no other Hoosiers listed on this week’s availability report.
