Duquesne transfer guard Jerni Kiaku commits to Indiana

Indiana women’s basketball had landed a commitment from Duquesne transfer guard Jerni Kiaku. Kiaku is now the fifth addition Teri Moren and the Hoosiers have made this offseason via the transfer portal.
A 5-foot-7 guard, Kiaku started all 33 games at Duquesne during the 2024-25 season. She averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 and 1.7 assists per game this past season. Kiaku shot 47.1% from the field, 26.7% from 3-point range and 71.4% from the charity stripe.
Kiaku finished in double-figures in 28 games a season ago, including four 20-point performances. Perhaps Kiaku’s best performance of the season came in November, when she posted 24 points and five assists on 10-of-12 shooting from the field.
