Former Indiana guard Eric Gordon re-signs with Philadelphia 76ers

Former Indiana guard Eric Gordon has inked a deal to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, the team announced on Tuesday night.
He initially declined his $3.4 million player option last week. Gordon’s new deal is expected to be the one-year veteran’s minimum worth $3.6 million, according to Adam Aaronson of the Philly Voice.
Gordon, 36, returns to the 76ers after averaging 6.8 points and shooting 40.9 percent from three in 39 games last year in his first year with the organization.
It was the first time in his career that he averaged anything less than double-digit points per game in a season.
