Key Storyline for Indiana basketball
Will Indiana basketball bounce back after lackluster showing?
Indiana basketball will enter Thursday night’s game 4-0 on the season with the expectation that they will be 5-0 by the end of their battle with Lindenwood. For the most part, the Hoosiers have been playing some really solid basketball but this past Sunday in their game vs UIW, some bad flashbacks of Indiana’s teams past made a surprising appearance.
This is a totally different system and program than what Indiana had the last four seasons, there is no question about that. In the last game however, this newest makeup of Indiana basketball showed an old habit that fans were all too familiar with and that was not being able to put away a lesser opponent. When it looked like the Hoosiers were close to putting it away, UIW would get on a run and eventually even cut the lead down just 5 with a few minutes.
What we learned about this Indiana basketball team is that there more worked to do. They are not a finished product and they are not in a position to take a lesser team lightly because as what was shown on Sunday, they are still capable of getting knocked off by anyone.
