Indiana basketball lands commitment from 2025 Serbian wing Aleksa Ristic

The Indiana basketball program has added to its 2025 class with the commitment of 2025 6-foot-5 Serbian wing Aleksa Ristic.
Sources tell TheHoosier.com that he is expected to join Indiana for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Ristic averaged 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists a game for Dynamic VP this season in the Serbia KSL, the top league in Serbia. Ristic is a terrific shooter and shot 38.6 percent from three this season, going 39-of-101 from three in 19 games.
He had 12 games with multiple made 3s and scored in double-figures in all but three games.
Ristic played for the U20 National Team last summer and averaged 9.4 points while shooting 41.2 percent from three (14-of-34) in seven games.
Ristic can play both on the ball as a playmaker and off the ball on the wing as a shooter.
“Ristic put together a strong season for KK Dymanic, producing ultra efficient splits and a strong assist to turnover ratio,” Arman Jovic of PDT Scouting said. “Aleksa’s a very strong, efficient lead guard who’s grown to be one of the better shooters in Serbia, shot over 42% from 3 last summer in U20s.”

Indiana was awaiting the news on the waivers of Luke Goode and Anthony Leal, which are still ongoing.
Indiana now has 12 players on its roster and the expectation is that 13 would be the max this upcoming season for the Hoosiers.
