Indiana basketball set to hire Justin Bailey to staff

The Indiana basketball program is set to bring on another staff member in Justin Bailey from Sam Houston State.
Sources confirm to TheHoosier.com that Bailey will join the Indiana staff. The exact role is yet to be officially confirmed but national insider Jeff Goodman reported that it would be Director of Player Personnel.
Bailey was a critical member of the Sam Houston staff in the recruitment and development of Lamar Wilkerson — one of the top incoming transfers for Indiana.
Bailey spent three years with Sam Houston and was names Associate Head Coach in 2023. Outside of Lamar Wilkerson, Bailey was also instrumental in the development of Davon Barnes, who was named a second team All-CUSA member, and Cameron Huefner, who was named honorable mention.
