Indiana basketball has extended a scholarship offer to one of the fastest rising players in the 2026 class in three-star guard Kohl Rosario.

Rosario, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Hickory, North Carolina, announced his offer on social media on Friday afternoon.

Rosario, who plays his high school basketball at Moravian Prep in Florida, is ranked as the No. 165 overall player in the class of 2026 and the No. 41 overall shooting guard, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Rosario recently jumped up to No. 27 overall in On3’s recent 2026 ranking update.

This past week, Rosario participated in the NBPA Top 100 camp. Through the first part of the prestigious camp, he averaged 15.5 points on 53.5% shooting.

“Rosario has been on an upward trajectory with his game,” On3’s Jamie Shaw wrote Saturday, recapping Rosario’s Day 1 performance at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. “While the 3-point shot was not falling for the 6-foot-4 shooting guard, he was still able to consistently score finishing 9-11 from two and 5-6 from the line in his two games.”

On the Nike EYBL Circuit this summer, Rosario is and Team CP3 are off to an 8-0 start. Rosario is averaging 14.2 points per game while shooting 44.4% from 3-point range.

Shaw has also described Rosario as a player with “a great frame with length and explosive burst that will get fans out of their seats.”

Aside from Indiana, Rosario also currently holds offers from Duke, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oregon, Kansas and a number of others.

Rosario recently took visits to both Oregon and Florida State. He also has upcoming visits set with Duke, Kansas and Miami.

“I might be reclassifying, so I have a big decision coming up,” Rosario told On3 earlier this week. “So I’m trying to get as much information as I can before I make a decision. We’re going to make a decision about reclassifying after these visits, so I won’t have a solid answer for that until after June. All of the schools recruiting me will take me as a 2026 or a 2025.”

“I just want to go somewhere I can win, and really just play winning basketball, you know, moving the ball, hitting open shots,” Rosario continued. “I want to go somewhere I can develop and just be the best version of myself every single day. I’m looking for a school with a good culture. Culture is everything; it speaks about the program and the coach. If you have a good culture, it is pretty much all of the other things combined. Again, the main thing is winning; if you’re not going to play to win, then what’s the point of playing?”
