Indiana football returns to Memorial Stadium, where they’ll face Wisconsin as they look to improve to 11-0 on the year.

The No. 2 Hoosiers are coming off a miraculous road win last week against Penn State, but face a Wisconsin team that just took down a Washington team that was ranked No. 23 at the time.

Wisconsin is 3-6 on the season, with their other wins coming against Miami (OH) and Middle Tennessee. Head coach Luke Fickell is in his third full season with the program and has gone 16-19 since taking over.

Below is the full preview ahead of Saturday’s Week 12 game.

Key Storyline

Get right game for the offensive line

The offensive line has been one of the bigger strengths on this Indiana team, but that unit had one of their worst showings last week against Penn State.

Down starting guard Drew Evans, the Hoosiers averaged just 3.5 yards per carry and struggled to protect Fernando Mendoza against the Nittany Lions.

The Penn State defense deserves a lot of credit, as they had arguably their best game of the season.

While Penn State played well, Indiana’s offensive line will have to be better down the stretch if the Hoosiers want to make a run in the College Football Playoff.

As good as Mendoza and the passing attack have been, the Indiana offense has been at its best when they can run the football.

These final two regular-season games will likely be the easiest games that unit has from here on out, and that starts against a Wisconsin defense that has shown they can stop the run.

The Badgers have only allowed 100+ rushing yards in four of their nine games and are allowing just 3.7 yards per rush on the season. They held both Alabama and Ohio State to under 100 rushing yards.

The Hoosiers have yet to have a game with less than 100 rushing yards, so this will be a good test for that unit.

While this game won’t be the hardest on the Hoosiers’ schedule, it will be a chance for the Indiana offensive line to regain the form that has powered them to be a top 10 rushing attack in the country.
