Kenny Johnson set to return to Indiana, join Darian DeVries coaching staff

Indiana‘s first staff under head coach Darian DeVries is beginning to take shape and that includes a familiar name for IU fans.
Former Indiana assistant Kenny Johnson is coming back and joining DeVries in Bloomington, multiple sources tell TheHoosier.com. Zach Osterman of The IndyStar had the first report.
Johnson was on staff under Tom Crean from 2012-14 and helped recruit or develop players like Cody Zeller, Victor Oladipo and Noah Vonleh. He helped Indiana land two top-20 recruiting classes, including a top-five class in 2013.
Johnson spent the 2024-25 season with Georgetown.
Before Georgetown, Johnson had notable stops at Louisville and Rhode Island — under former Indiana head coach Archie Miller.
