Kick time, TV info set for Indiana's Week 5 matchup at Iowa

The Big Ten has announced kickoff and broadcast details for Indiana’s Week 5 matchup at Iowa, with the Hoosiers set to play a Saturday afternoon matinee in Iowa City.
The Sept. 27 game at Kinnick Stadium will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, the league office confirmed Monday.
It marks Indiana’s first road game of the 2025 season and its first trip to Iowa since a season-opening 34–6 loss in 2021. The Hoosiers avoid the night-game slot at Kinnick, a venue that has long been a house of horrors for ranked opponents, and instead will meet the Hawkeyes in the mid-afternoon.
Iowa enters the contest unranked at 2–1, with wins over UMass and Albany and a loss at Iowa State. Before facing Indiana, the Hawkeyes play a Friday night game at Rutgers.
For IU fans, the Iowa matchup follows a marquee showdown this Saturday against No. 9 Illinois — the first top-20 home matchup in Bloomington in nearly four decades. A win over the Illini would push Indiana deeper into the College Football Playoff conversation as the 12-team field takes shape.

The trip to Iowa also begins a pivotal road stretch for the Hoosiers, with visits to No. 6 Oregon (Oct. 11) and No. 2 Penn State (Nov. 8) looming.
How to Watch
Saturday’s game will not be available on traditional television. Fans will need a Peacock subscription to tune in:
- Premium (with ads) — $10.99/month or $109.99/year
- Premium Plus (ad-free, includes downloads) — $16.99/month or $169.99/year
This will be Indiana football’s first contest carried exclusively on Peacock, though IU men’s and women’s basketball have also had games streamed there. The broadcast assignment stems from the Big Ten’s media rights deal with Fox, NBC/Peacock, and CBS, which runs through 2030.
