Indiana Football matches up with Indiana State for their final non-conference game of the 2025 season.
The Sycamores are coming off a 4-8 season in 2024 but are 2-0 in 2025 with wins over McKendree and Eastern Illinois.
Indiana State head coach Curt Mallory, who is the son of former Indiana coach Bill Mallory, is in his 8th season with the Sycamores.

Curt Cignetti and Indiana will be looking to wrap up their non-conference schedule with a strong performance against Indiana State before beginning Big Ten play next week.
The Hoosiers are a 47.5-point favorite over Old Dominion with an over/under of 59.5 points per BetMGM.

Hoosiers waste no time on the opening drive going 66 yards on seven plays as Fernando Mendoza caps it off by scrambling for a seven yard touchdown. Mendoza was 3-3 for 47 passing yards on the drive. Kaelon Black fumbled inside the red zone but Pat Coogan was able to jump on the football to prevent a turnover.
Omar Cooper Jr. makes a man miss en route to TD catch

After an Indiana State three and out the Hoosiers march down the field going 78 yards on nine plays. Cooper Jr. capped off the drive by scoring a 13 yard touchdown on a bubble screen. Fernando Mendoza has started the game 9-9 with 127 passing yards, a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown.

Indiana forces another three and out and are able to drive into the ISU red zone but cannot score a touchdown. Curt Cignetti originally elected to go for it on 4th and goal at the 2 yard line but after a false start penalty the Hoosiers are forced to kick. Nicolas Radicic buries the 25 yard field goal to extend the lead.

After another three and out from the Sycamore offense, Fernando Mendoza leads the Hoosiers on another touchdown drive connecting with tight end Holden Staes for the 18 yard touchdown. Kaelon Black had a 29 yard rush on the drive to help Indiana go 65 yards on just three plays.
