Indiana women’s basketball continues to flip its roster ahead of the 2025–26 season, securing a commitment from junior college standout Jade Ondineme.

The 6-foot-3 forward from Northwest Florida State College announced her decision to transfer to Indiana earlier this month via social media.

Ondineme, originally from Orléans, France, brings size, athleticism, and winning experience to a Hoosier frontcourt that has undergone notable changes this offseason. Ondineme recently completed her sophomore year at Northwest Florida State, where she played a key role in one of the premier junior college programs in the country.

In 2024–25, Ondineme appeared in 35 games for the Raiders, averaging 6.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game while shooting an efficient 51.1% from the field.

Ondineme’s impact extended beyond the stat sheet, contributing to a 32–3 season that culminated in a national championship at the NJCAA Division I level. The title followed a runner-up finish for the program the previous year, giving Ondineme back-to-back appearances in the championship game during her JUCO career.

Her commitment marks the sixth addition via the transfer portal for head coach Teri Moren this spring, as the program reshapes its roster following several departures and graduation losses. Ondineme joins newcomers Chloe Spreen, Phoenix Stotijn, Zania Socka-Nguemen, Edessa Noyan, and Jerni Kiaku.

While Ondineme’s exact eligibility at Indiana remains subject to an NCAA ruling, she is expected to have at least two years remaining. Regardless of the ruling, Ondineme’s experience and size are expected to offer immediate support in the post and around the rim, a position of emphasis for the Hoosiers moving forward.

With her commitment, Indiana’s scholarship count stands at 13 for the 2025–26 campaign. As summer workouts approach, Moren and her staff are looking to integrate the new pieces into a program that has made multiple NCAA Tournament appearances in recent years.
