A new era officially tipped Wednesday night, and Indiana didn’t exactly ease into anything. Darian DeVries’ first game as Indiana head coach was not subtle. It wasn’t close. It wasn’t sluggish. It was a full-throttle, elastic, humming, 98–51 throttle job over Alabama A&M to begin the 2025-26 season with a win. If Indiana's five exhibition contest over the last two months were the data, Wednesday night inside of Assembly Hall was the proof of concept.
