Trio of Indiana commits ranked in updated Rivals300 rankings

Rivals’ 2026 Rivals300 rankings were updated Monday, offering a glimpse at how the next generation of football stars is shaping up.
While Indiana’s 2026 recruiting class has been built more so on quality depth rather than high-end blue-chip prospects, there’s still a few Indiana commits that find themselves inside Rivals’ updated top-300 rankings.
As it stands right now, Indiana’s class of 2026, which features 22 pledges, ranks No. 32 in the country and No. 9 in the Big Ten.
Below is a look at where the handful of Hoosier commits are ranked in the Rivals300.

Gabe Hill — Defensive Tackle
Ranking: No. 131 (Previous: No. 160)
Hill slots in as one of the top-ranked recruits out of the state of Illinois.
A 6-foot-2, 295-pound defensive lineman, Hill has grown a couple of inches and has continued to put on more muscle throughout the early stages of his senior season at Naperville North High School.
Over the last year or so, Hill has been considered one of the nation’s best defensive linemen after a junior season where he had 44 solo tackles, 26.0 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks and 10 more quarterback hurries. He has already been clocked with a 4.8-second 40 time at just under 300 pounds.
Ronelle Johnson — Defensive End
Ranking: No. 137 (Previous: No. 123)
Johnson, one of the final additions to Indiana’s class of 2026, is the lone Hoosier named inside of the Rivals300 to fall in the rankings since the last update.
At 6-foot-4 245 pounds, Johnson is off to a steady start to his senior campaign at Blue Springs High School in Missouri.
