Watch: Tucker DeVries gets offseason workout in with Jordan Basye

New Indiana basketball forward Tucker DeVries looks to be healthy and ready to get going for Indiana basketball as the summer approaches.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, well-regarded basketball trainer Jordan Basye posted on his X account a video of Tucker DeVries getting a offseason workout in as the summer workouts begin to approach starting in June.
Tucker DeVries will come into the Indiana program as a 5th-year senior after he received his medical waiver from only playing 8 games last season due to a shoulder injury. In those 8 games he played, DeVries averaged 14.9 points on 41.2 percent shooting which included shooting over 47 percent from the three point line. He also added 4.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game as well.

He has a career average of 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in the 112 games he has appeared in. Before playing at West Virginia last season, Tucker DeVreis played for his father at Drake where he was a two-time Missouri Valley Player of the Year and three-time All-MVC.
Tucker DeVreis followed his father, Darian DeVries, to Indiana when Darian DeVries took the head coaching job.
