Where Indiana basketball targets land in updated 2026 On3 rankings
Following the firs live evaluation period, and two sessions of spring play on the AAU circuit, the new 2026 On3 basketball rankings have been released — with numerous Indiana basketball targets highly ranked.
The new Indiana basketball staff has been busy on the recruiting trail and have been attacking the 2026 class with full speed since taking over in March.
Here is a look at all of the Indiana basketball targets who are ranked in the refreshed rankings.
Anthony Thompson (2026, SF, Western Reserve (Oh.) / Indiana Elite – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 5 overall
New Ranking: No. 5 overall
AAU Stats: 14.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.1 apg, 33.3% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “The frame pop’s immediately with Anthony Thompson. He has long arms and the look of someone who might might be done growing. That is intriguing as he is already listed at 6-foot-6. Where Thompson shined is with his shooting. The lefty has a smooth jump shot with range that extends behind the three-point arc. A lot of Thompson’s buckets came off drive and kicks from teammates, but he also might have been the best shooter in the gym through the first two days.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw last winter.
Jordan Smith (2026, SG, Paul VI (Va.) / Team Takeover – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: No. 4 overall
New Ranking: No. 6 overall
AAU Stats: 19.5 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 3.6 apg, 36.8% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “The 6-foot-2 guard has the ball in his hands for a majority of the game, however, it is how he carries himself on the court that gives you a sense of confidence that he will deliver. Jordan Smith Jr has a strong frame, with excellent length, and noticable twitch. He brings a tenacious demeanor to the floor as he comes in the reputation as a defensive stopper. He certainly is that picking up five steals in Saturday’s first game. His pace has really come along, on ball, able to consistently get his defender off balance and touch the paint. Smith is looking like a lead guard, and while the jump shot needs continued work the winning qualities he brings are noticeable.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this spring.
Caleb Gaskins (2026, SF, Columbus (Fla.) / Nightrydas – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: No. 24 overall
New Ranking: No. 11 overall
AAU Stats: 16.5 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 2.1 apg
Scouting Notes: “Elite athleticism and versatility as a player are the two major things that I came away with for Caleb Gaskins. Listed at 6-foot-8, Gaskins is a bigger wing with a true inside-out presence as a player. When on the wing, he loves to attack the defense and makes things look so easy in the lane as smaller wing defenders have a tough time absorbing his size coming at them. He is not really a guy that is going to shoot a ton of the threes at the moment whereas he’d much rather use his natural frame to his advantage. While the ability to score in the lane easy was fun to see, the thing that impressed me the most with Gaskins was his shotmaking ability in post-up actions. He can ground-and-pound you to the basket but also makes tough turnaround jumpers off the defense, as he did multiple times when I watched him. More than just a big, athletic forward, Gaskins also has skills to back it up.” – TheHoosier.com Recruiting Analyst Kyler Staley this spring.
Cameron Williams (2026, PF, St. Mary’s (Az.) / Compton Magic – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 27 overall
New Ranking: No. 16 overall
AAU Stats: 17.4 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.0 spg, 3.1 bpg, 46.2% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “I’m an unselfish player, I just want to do whatever it takes to win. I try to get my teammates involved and make my impact defensively and rebounding. My shooting has improved over the summer, my mid-range is much more consistent. And defensively, I’m able to guard smaller players.” – Cameron Williams last winter.
Ethan Taylor (2026, C; Link Academy (Ks.) / MoKan Elite – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: No. 34 overall
New Ranking: No. 21 overall
AAU Stats: 10.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 0.7 bpg, 73.2% FG
Scouting Notes: “Ethan Taylor has great size with excellent length. While he is still coming along with his game, gathering his strength and balance, but he scored over his left shoulder. He is a mobile athlete and plays big, walling up and affecting plays around the rim. He is still young in his game, so he will need to continue working through gaining leverages and with his stamina. However, there is a lot there you cannot teach and he has consistently gotten better.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this spring.
Taylen Kinney (2026, PG, Overtime Elite (Ga.) / Wildcat Select – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 18 overall
New Ranking: No. 23 overall
AAU Stats: 19.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.3 apg
Scouting Notes: “Tay Kinney plays an efficient game, with his head always up, his handle always close, and his balance on point. He is a plus decision-maker with the ball in his hands, not only taking care of possessions but moving the ball around and being capable of throwing live dribble passes with both hands on target. Kinney plays at his own pace. While looking at his long-term upside, he carries questions with his positional size and average athletic burst, but he is never sped up and is decisively able to attack his spots in the half-court. Then, there is the shooting. Kinney is a good shooter with deep range. He is capable of self-create looks or knocking down shots with his feet set. Kinney is able to use his threat to shoot to get into the teeth of the defense with a crafty handle and head-up floor vision. While not having the desirable measurables, he has continued working his way up the rankings while continually producing at high levels of the game.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this spring.
Toni Bryant (2026, C, Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Fla.) / Tre Mann Elite – Puma)
Previous Ranking: No. 12 overall
New Ranking: No. 24 overall
AAU Stats: Not updated through final session
Scouting Notes: There is an appeal with Toni Bryant when you first see him. The 6-foot-9 post presence has a long and athletic frame. Seeing him play, you immediately notice how well he is a long-strider when he switches ends and has lateral dexterity in the half-court. Bryant is most comfortable at this point facing the basket. Offense is not natural for him yet, however, he does show flashes with some handle and some touch. He did finish a few high flying plays with lobs and putbacks. Continuing to learn the finer parts of the game is next, the angles, reads, and footwork. The tools are in place and the flashes are interesting. When Bryant went down to the block, he found his most production on the day. He used his twitchy athleticism and length for some above the rim finishes around the basket. He has a lot of upside with his game as he continues to clean up his consistency.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this winter.
Latrell Allmond (2026, PF, John Marshall (Va.) / Team Loaded – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 25 overall
New Ranking: No. 25 overall
AAU Stats: 15.5 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.1 bpg
Scouting Notes: “On the court, Latrell Allmond profiles as a modern “four” with a blend of power, touch, and mobility. He scores effectively on the block with both hands and has developed into a consistent perimeter shooter. His combination of strength and footwork allows him to rebound well, protect the rim, and run the floor in transition.” – TheHoosier.com Analyst Zach Browning this spring.

Bryson Howard (2026, SG, Heritage (Tx.) / Pro Skills – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: NR
New Ranking: No. 35 overall
AAU Stats: 20.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 45.5% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “Bryson Howard started the weekend with a bang, going for back-to-back thirty-point performances. Howard shot the ball well from beyond the arc, but he also showcased some athletic twitch around the basket. What stood out later in the week for Howard was his his instincts on defense. Routinely, he would swtich down a line up to guard on the block, where he would gain leverge and use his length to give the opposing big fits. Howard did not have much of a reputation coming into the weekend, but should be one of the big winners of the Memphis EYBL stop” — On3 National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw said this spring
Davion Adkins (2026, C, Oak Cliff Faith (Tx.) / Southern Assault – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 30 overall
New Ranking: No. 44 overall
AAU Stats: 12.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.4 bpg
Scouting Notes: “Davion Adkins has made quite a rise over the past 12 months, continuing to get better each time out. The 6-foot-8 forward from Texas is now On3’s No. 23 overall player in the 2026 rankings. Adkins is an explosive athlete, so it all starts there. The lefty, has excellent timing, great length, and he is a twitchy athlete. At 6-foot-8, he is one of the best shot blockers in this camp. He runs the floor very well for a big man, quickly switching ends. The most intrige/development in his game has come with the shooting. He is knocking down pick-and-pop jumpers from 18 to 23 feet pretty consistently here. That simply opens up more to his game. The explosive pop and the timing that Adkins has is unique. He has a strong base that goes well with excellent length. But his ability to run and move makes him a constant threat, on both ends, around the basket. The lefty is adding to his game with touch on the jump shot, he knocked down multiple pick-and-pop middies and jump hooks this morning.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw said last winter.
Trey Thompson (2026, PF, Greeneville (Tn.) / Tennessee Impact – 3SSB)
Previous Ranking: No. 115 overall
New Ranking: No. 55 overall
AAU Stats: 18.4 ppg, 6.6 4pg, 1.4 apg, 44% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “I feel like my ball handling has gotten ten times better. My freshman year to sophomore year, I really didn’t feel comfortable bringing the ball up and like making those moves to the basket like the crossover behind the back combo moves and stuff like that — I really didn’t feel confident about that, but this year is a whole lot better. I feel more confident with the basketball and then the biggest change of them all in my opinion is the defensive side. I really worked hard on my body this past year and a half to be able to get to guard 1-5, maybe the two through the five, but last year I struggled guarding the two and the three — the guys that are quicker than me and they used to get around me and get to the basket all the time. Now I’m staying in front of them, making them take a tough shot or contesting the lay up.” – Trey Thompson this spring.
Cole Cloer (2026, SF, Caldwell (NC) / Team CP3 – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: No. 73 overall
New Ranking: No. 61 overall
AAU Stats: 14.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.3 apg, 30% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “Cole Cloer stands in the 6-6 range, a scorer. Cloer is a solid straight line athlete with solid length, and a developing wing handle. Is at his best when his game is consolidated, getting to his spots within one or two dribbles. His balance is inconsistent when shooting from three which leads to inconsistent resulted. Has good length. Nice shooting release that is consistent. Not the best athlete laterally and can play upright at times. Has some explosion that will get him above the rim, especially on set lob plays. Very nice pull up jump shot off a dribble or two. Does not put much pressure on the rim in the half-court, which limits free throw opportunities at times, but he is capable of straight-line driving sloppy closeouts.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this spring.
Sammy Jackson (2026, CG, Roman Catholic (PA.) / Team Final – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: No. 119 overall
New Ranking: No. 75 overall
AAU Stats: 10.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 4.3 apg, 40.9% 3pt
Scouting Notes: “The unique nature of Sammy Jackson’s game makes him very intriguing as a long-term prospect. Listed at 6-foot-7, his Team Final team ran a lot of their offense through him.Acting as an offensive hub in the half court, Jackson showed quick processing and an ability to consistently deliver on target and on time. He is a fluid athlete, but not the most explosive which did cause some troubles finishing at the rim. But his feel allowed his team to consistently create advantages through him on the floor. Jackson is just coming into his own as a player, discovering his confidence. He knocked down shots here and found consistent opportunities for his team. Stock-rising weekend for him.” – On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw this spring.
Collins Onyejiaka (2026, C, The Newman School (MA) / Team New England Basketball Club – Made Sports Circuit)
Previous Ranking: No. 110 overall
New Ranking: No. 91 overall
AAU Stats: Not updated through final session
Scouting Notes: “Collins Onyejiaka is a big 6-foot-10. He has long arms and he showed mobility throughout the weekend. Still new to the game, he tracked the ball well and attacked the glass both in his area and on the offensive end… He is an intriguing prospect.” — On3 National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw last fall.
Price Alexander-Moody (2026, SG, Bishop McNamara (MD) / Team Takeover – EYBL)
Previous Ranking: NR
New Ranking: NR
AAU Stats: 12.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.9 apg
Scouting Notes: “The 6-foot-4 wing was easily one of players that impressed me the most the entire weekend in Memphis. In all honesty, I was not aware just how efficient Prince Alexander-Moody was as a three-and-D, two-way player because that is what he showed me as his long term potential at the college level. His offense is mostly knocking down the outside jumper on Team Takeover but is also someone that can and will mix it up around the rim as well. Behind the arc, he is really good at creating space both on and off the ball to get look from deep. He uses screens and has strong dribble pull-up skills. Defensive wise, his length, skill, and instincts make him tough on that end. Showed versatility as a defender while also doing a great job in passing lanes and picking the defender’s pocket.” – TheHoosier.com Recruiting Analyst Kyler Staley this spring.
