Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. Though it appears that K-State may have a complete roster on paper, assuming some things work out in their favor, they haven’t finished recruiting for the current squad.

Undoubtedly, the Wildcats have 11 players for the 2025-2026 roster. That technically means they have two spaces before getting to 13. However, they’re hoping for one more year of eligibility for big man Tyreek Smith and to add Elias Rapieque.

While Rapieque is expected to make it to campus without issue, Smith awaits his waiver. However, they haven’t finished recruiting. Does that tell us they could push to carry more than 13? We discuss that possibility.

If K-State were to carry more than 13 players for next season, who are some options that they are considering? It sounds like they’ve made contact with an even larger group, but we know of two targets that have come into picture.
