Buzz: Kansas State players generating hype before season

Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. I already listed in a previous article who I think can be capable of a breakout season, but this time I share which actual players are getting the most hype just before the 2025 season.

Some of it is based on what we heard at Big 12 Media Days in Frisco, but some of it is based on conversations we have had with folks connected to the program behind the scenes as well. And we’ll dig into promising freshmen at a later date.

10 players popped as trending upward with the K-State season a little over a month away. Training camp is just around the corner. Though it wasn’t purposeful, it was split right down the middle between the offense and defense.

Though I have pointed out that it sounds like the K-State defense is a bit behind the offense at this point of the calendar, there are no shortage of players on that side of the ball impressing. All three levels are represented.
