Buzz: Kansas State remains in Big 12 title hunt with two big wins

Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. During the football season we shed light on the standouts for each week, among other items. We will do the same for both the K-State men’s and women’s basketball programs.
And it was a great week! Both teams went 2-0, with Jerome Tang and the men absolutely crushing both Oklahoma State and Iowa State. Jeff Mittie and the ladies also defeated the Cyclones (in overtime) and smashed archrival Kansas.
A switch has turned around for the Wildcats since a 7-11 start. They’ve won three straight games, with the first victory during the streak coming against West Virginia at home. Who has uplifted Kansas State the most lately?

Mittie’s club has had to do it without Ayoka Lee. Which K-State posts have stepped up and shined in her absence, and where do we credit the three-point shooting barrage that took place in the victory over the Jayhawks?
