Kansas State remains red hot on the recruiting trail. Lakeland, Florida corner JoJo Scott has committed to K-State.

The announcement for Scott comes on the heels of an official visit to Kansas State. Are more fireworks on the way for the Wildcats? It is possible.

He was one of nine official visitors in Manhattan this weekend. Scott was joined by Maguire Richman, Brock Heath, Serious Stinyard, Sammy Etienne, Dominic Mitchell, Gio Richardson, Isaiah Mizell and Julius Simms.

It is a heck of a recruiting win for K-State cornerbacks coach Van Malone. The rising senior cornerback was a very wanted prospect. He held offers from Akron, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Iowa State, Kansas, Liberty, Memphis, NC State, Nebraska, South Florida, Temple, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Oregon State and Western Michigan in addition to Kansas State. Scott had already gone on an official visit to Oregon State and was scheduled to visit Kansas June 21. He will no longer be taking the visit to Kansas. His official visit was just the first time Scott had been in Manhattan, but his strong relationship with the Kansas State coaching staff sealed the deal for K-State.

Florida has been kind to K-State under Chris Klieman. Jayce Brown had a breakout season in 2023 and Josh Hayes was a Florida native who transferred from North Dakota State to the Wildcats. Kansas State also added offensive lineman Devin Vass in the 2023 class along with Brown.

It has been a seven-day stretch full of many commits for K-State. Scott is the fifth commitment to the Wildcats in the last seven days and is commitment No. 8 total in the 2025 class. The corner joins Dillon Duff, Weston Polk, Will Kemna, Martel Jackson, Adonis Moise, Dalton Knapp and Sawyer Schilke in the 2025 class. Scott has not yet been ranked by On3.
