The recruitment of three-star safety Mason Lewis of Arizona has been a bit of a wild ride. Iowa is no longer in the mix, and the top two may not actually be K-State and Minnesota. Both Cal and Vanderbilt are back in the picture.

No. 1 2026 center Ethan Taylor visited Kansas State last week, in addition to Kansas. Both in-state schools are trying to pry him loose, though he will play at Link Academy in Missouri this year. But the Wildcats also have a five-star prospect on campus to begin this week.
