Observation's from Kansas State's first open spring practice

What we’re hearing on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, including updating what the football recruiting process could look like in a year from a legislation standpoint.

In this edition we provide some of our thoughts, reactions and observations to K-State football practice thus far this Spring, what players are standing out, what could be different about the offense and new wrinkles deployed by some of the new assistants on that side of the ball.

Additionally, we discuss a true freshman that has made a splash and impressed his Kansas State teammates and coaches early on, what the staff could plan to do during the portal window in April and how the signing periods could continue to change.

We provide a hint of what is inside below.

  • Which K-State true freshman has stood out since arriving on campus in January
  • What positions could the Wildcats target in the transfer portal?
  • Why is the offensive staff thrilled about what they are seeing in the backfield?
  • Are there any changes we could see in a Kansas State offense led by Conor Riley?
  • More on the signing period change for the Class of 2025 and where it could be different yet again for the Class of 2026.

That is just a taste of what can be found in our K-State team and recruiting content on a weekly basis throughout the calendar year. There has never been a better time to join the largest community of Kansas State fans on the internet that converse and discuss the Wildcats on a daily basis.
