2010 vs 2012 vs 2015: Who Dominated Their Regular Season More?

by:Aaron Perkins03/08/15
You may be thinking by reading the title of my post, "That’s an easy question Aaron, 2015 just finished their season undefeated." Yes I am fully aware of that, but 2010 and the 2012 team are considered the best of the Calipari era and possibly two of the best teams in Kentucky history. When I think of the word dominate, I think of a beat down of a given opponent. While there could be a loss in the mix, I am looking at the full body of work. Here is a breakdown of just how much each of these teams beat opponents. 2010 [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1419"] Wildcatworld.com[/caption]
  • 20+ 9
  • 15-19 6
  • 10-14 8
  • 5-9 2
  • 1-4 4
2012 [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="620"] Wildcatworld.com[/caption]
  • 20+ 15
  • 15-19 5
  • 10-14 3
  • 5-9 5
  • 1-4 2
  2015 [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="736"] Pintrist.com[/caption]
  • 20+ 11
  • 15-19 8
  • 10-14 5
  • 5-9 5
  • 1-4 2
While the 2012 team had more 20+ more wins, the 2015 team has had 26 games of 10+ points. Not only has the 2015 Kentucky Wildcats locked up the best regular season in the history of the program, they might just have one of the more dominating seasons as well.
