2024 Canadian guard Tanah Becker commits to Kentucky WBB

The Kentucky women’s basketball program received its second commitment in the 2024 class when Canadian prospect Tanah Becker committed to Kyra Elzy and the ‘Cats on Monday.
Becker joins Butler’s Ramiya White as the only two commits in next year’s class. White committed to Kentucky back in August.
Becker has been regarded as one of the top Canadian prospects in this class for most of her high school career. She was a key contributor for the 16U Canadian National Team, and she is even a 2x Canadian All-Star in the WNBA Without Borders camp.
On top of that, she was selected to the All Canada Games team in 2022-23 and 2023-24. That’s basically the equivalent of being a McDonald’s All-American, but twice. She was also named the MVP of the NBA Global Academy in 2022-23.

When she isn’t dominating in Canada, she’s dominating here in the States. Becker was named to the 2023 Tournament of Champions All-Tournament team while also winning a 16U FIBA Americas silver medal.
The 6-1 guard plays for Hamilton Heights, a Christian academy down in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is currently averaging 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.4 steals per game. Offensively, she can attack the hoop and get after it in transition. On the other side of the ball, she already shows elite, Division I-caliber ball-hawking skills. That’s part of why she has been named “player of the game” nine times this season alone.
When you watch the tape, it’s clear that she is the perfect mold for a Kyra Elzy team.
