2026 five-star wing Savvy Swords commits to Kentucky WBB

Kenny Brooks and Kentucky have done it again.
2026 five-star wing Savvy Swords, the No. 9 player in the class according to On3’s Women’s Basketball Recruiting Rankings, committed to Kentucky over UCLA, South Carolina, Notre Dame and Michigan on Saturday, a source told KSR.
The 6-foot-1 product out of Canada is the sister of Michigan standout Syla Swords, who averaged 16.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game on 35.7% shooting from three-point range for the Wolverines as a freshman. Savvy will be charting her own path in Lexington.

Swords becomes the second commitment of the 2026 class for Kentucky, joining five-star point guard Maddyn Greenway, who committed last November.
Getting two top 10 commitments to start the 2026 class? Not really any better way to do it. Welcome to Kentucky, Savvy Swords.
