3-star Kentucky RB target SirPaul Cheeks schedules trio of official visits

The Wildcats are looking to gain more momentum on the recruiting trail.
Kentucky running back target SirPaul “Jesus in Cleats” Cheeks has scheduled a trio of official visits for this month, he tells KSR. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound native of Virginia will be at West Virginia this weekend (June 13-15), Kentucky in the middle of next week (June 17-19), and Virginia Tech the following weekend (June 20-22).
Cheeks is considered a three-star prospect and the No. 1,140 overall rising high school senior in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
After Cheeks wraps up his official visits, he’ll go straight into decision-making mode. He announced earlier this week on social media that a commitment date is set for Tuesday, July 1, at his high school, Varina (VA). WVU, Kentucky, and Virginia Tech will all be in consideration, as will the likes of Pitt and Minnesota.
Aside from having a great name (and an even better self-proclaimed nickname) for a football player, Cheeks has blossomed into a legitimate Power 4 target this year. He was named to the All-Metro Team by the Richmond Times-Dispatch following his junior season at Lloyd C. Bird (VA), where he registered nearly 1,500 all-purpose yards and 18 total touchdowns. Cheeks has since transferred to Varina for his senior season.

Cheeks also doubles as a star track runner, logging a personal record of 10.63 seconds in the 100-meter dash back in April. On the gridiron, he also impressed as a cornerback, wide receiver, and returner, but he’s being recruited mainly as a ball carrier at the college level. Kentucky running backs coach Jay Boulware offered Cheeks on June 5, and the two sides have been moving quickly ever since.
Kentucky currently has three commits locked in from the 2026 cycle: four-star OT Jarvis Strickland, three-star WR Prince Jean, and three-star WR Davis McCray. Jean and McCray both committed to UK earlier this month.
