Kentucky football kicked off an important stretch of hosting official visitors on Friday. The list of prospects expected to be in Lexington over the coming weeks continues to grow, too.

Class of 2024 three-star running back Jason Patterson will take an official visit to Kentucky beginning on Wednesday, June 14. This OV will replace a previously scheduled trip to Kansas for the same date. The Sneads (FL) High School product, who clocks in at 6-foot, 205 pounds, has already taken an official visit to Rutgers (June 2) and began his Boston College official visit on Friday. Patterson will also OV at Cincinnati (June 16) and Vanderbilt (June 23) this month.

UK will host a handful of midweek visitors during the time Patterson will be on campus, including four-star S Vaboue Toure, three-star WR Antonio White, and IOL Jadon Lafontant.

Patterson only recently received an offer from Kentucky, which came from defensive line coach Anwar Stewart during the spring. But he’s been hearing from the program for a while now, even taking an unofficial gameday visit during the fall. New running backs coach Jay Boulware has been recruiting Patterson, as well.

“I’ve known Coach [Anwar] Stewart since sophomore year,” Patterson told Jacob Polacheck of KSR+. “When Coach [Jay] Boulware came in February or March, that’s when Coach Stewart offered me. I didn’t know it though. He gave me a call and came to my school and told me that he offered me two months ago. I’m happy about it though.”

Patterson has indicated in the past that he would like to make a commitment during the middle of his senior season this fall. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, he’s considered the No. 509 prospect from the ’24 class and the 41st-best-ranked running back. During his junior season at Sneads, Patterson rushed for 2,714 yards and 35 touchdowns on 206 carries (13.1 YPC).
