4-star '24 DL Kendall Jackson will officially visit Kentucky in June

The weekend of June 16-18 is shaping up to be an important one for the Kentucky football program
The latest class of 2024 prospect planning to officially visit Lexington during that time is Kendall Jackson, a four-star defensive lineman out of F. W. Buchholz (FL) High School. Jackson tells KSR that he has two official visits locked into place, the first going to Florida (June 2-4) and the second to Kentucky (June 16-18). The Miami Hurricanes also expect to receive an OV, Jackson says, although no date has been locked in at this time.
On3 ranks Jackson (6-foot-3, 245 pounds) as a four-star recruit and the No. 27 overall defensive lineman in the class of 2024.
This visit for Jackson will be his second to Kentucky. He was on campus earlier this month to watch spring practice and told KSR at the time he fully planned on returning for a gameday visit in the fall. That timeline has since been bumped up.
Defensive backs coach Chris Collins, who extended Jackson his second SEC offer back in Oct. 2022, is leading the charge.
“Me and Coach Collins talk frequently,” Jackson told KSR in March. “He just catches up with me in life, we don’t really talk about football, we just talk about life and how’s everybody doing, how’s your family doing, we don’t just talk about football.”

Jackson announced a Top 6 just days after his first Kentucky visit, which included the Wildcats along with Ole Miss, Texas, Florida, Miami (FL), and Mississippi State. Considering Jackson’s high school is based in Gainesville, the Gators have the inside edge right now, even receiving a pair of RPM picks from Florida analysts back in June 2022. But Kentucky getting him on campus again is a good sign that he’s considering more than just the hometown team.
During his junior season at F. W. Buchholz in 2022, Jackson registered 65 total tackles, 37 solo tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 12.5 sacks. He also broke up three passes, caught two interceptions (one he returned for a touchdown), and forced two fumbles. He was named to Florida’s Class 4S All-State Team as a result.
