No official visit is complete without the traditional jersey photoshoot.

Kentucky men’s basketball recruiting target Anthony Thompson spent a few days in Lexington for his sixth and final official visit — and he looks like a natural wearing the blue and white. Thompson, who is rated No. 6 overall in the 2026 class by the Rivals Industry Ranking, posted a handful of pictures from his OV to his social media accounts on Friday. The 6-foot-8 wing arrived on campus Wednesday and received the Blue Carpet treatment from Mark Pope and his coaching staff over the following days.

How does Thompson look in a Kentucky jersey, BBN? The picture of him and Pope both palming a basketball is my personal favorite, but I am again asking: where can I get my hands on that jacket?

Despite this being his third time on campus in the last 12 months, Kentucky had some ground to make up in this recruitment coming into the week. Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, and North Carolina are the other schools in the mix for Thompson. Kentucky was able to make the final pitch ahead of a decision, though. Thompson does not have a scheduled decision date, but one is expected to surface later in the fall.

“(Pope has) done a good job of connecting with Anthony and recruiting him,” Thompson’s head coach at Western Reserve (OH), Matt Garvey, recently told KSR+. “It’s been going on for more than a year now, so it’s been great.”

Kentucky is still searching for its first commitment from the 2026 cycle. Thompson’s recruitment is heading down the home stretch. Can Pope pull it off and land a top 10 prospect in the country?
