UK junior left-handed pitcher/first baseman A.J. Reed has been named second-team All-America, according to Perfect Game, a popular baseball scouting service. It is his third preseason award after earning third-team honors from Louisville Slugger and Collegiate Baseball.
Last season, Reed finished fourth in the SEC with 13 home runs and 52 RBIs, while also making 14 series-opening starts on the mound.
Shout out to the Terre Haute, Indiana native (where I am currently living) on the accolades.
