After picking up Kentucky offer, 4-star C Josh Irving schedules official visits
Things are moving quickly with stock-rising center Josh Irving.
After announcing an offer from the Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday morning, Irving has already scheduled an official visit to check out Lexington. As first reported by Brandon Jenkins of 247Sports, the 6-foot-11 big man out of Pasadena (CA) has locked in seven OVs over the next few months. Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ has since confirmed Irving’s trip to UK’s campus.
Below is Irving’s upcoming visit schedule:
- San Diego State (August 21-23)
- SMU (August 29-31)
- Kansas (September 12-14)
- Louisville (September 19-21)
- Texas A&M (September 27-29)
- Kentucky (October 10-12)
- Southern California (October 17-19)
A member of the 2026 recruiting class, Irving is ranked No. 44 overall by Rivals and is considered a top 10 center in the country. He’s the 19th rising high school senior to announce an offer from the Wildcats.
Irving is coming off an impressive summer on the AAU circuit, where he helped Clint Parks Skills Academy win the Puma PRO16/NXTPRO 17U title. Assistant coach Jason Hart has been leading the charge on Kentucky’s behalf, monitoring his play over the last few months, with head coach Mark Pope also staying in touch. The UK staff actually extended the offer on Monday night while on a Zoom call.

“They (Kentucky) came out to watch him during the last live period. After that, it started to take off,” Irving’s program director, Clint Parks, recently told KSR+. “He’s been on their radar. As a developing prospect, he’s someone they’ve been keeping an eye on.”
Joining Irving on his official visit to UK will be five-star shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr., who also plans to be in town from October 10-12. That stretch is expected to fall on the weekend of Big Blue Madness.
