All of your Kentucky-Louisville basketball gameday essentials

Are you ready for some basketball? Of course you are, Kentucky is taking on Louisville to snap an historic five-game losing streak. There’s a lot on the line and plenty of reasons to be excited. Here’s everything you need to know before the two teams share the hardwood this afternoon.

The Wildcats are 4.5 point underdogs against the Cardinals. The total for over/under bettors is set at 133.5. Kentucky has not covered in three straight games.

It’s only the fifth time in 44 meetings that neither team is ranked. UK has a 37-16 advantage in the series, including a 13-9 record at UofL. Chris Mack is winless against UK in two tries, while John Calipari is 11-2 over the Cards since he became the Wildcats’ head coach.
