Josh Paschal is one step closer to returning to the football field. Malignant melanoma was discovered on the bottom of the Kentucky defensive end's right foot in August.  After multiple procedures were performed to remove the cancerous spot, KSR has learned that Paschal underwent chemotherapy treatment. Following the procedures, Paschal could not bear any weight on his right foot.  He moved around campus on a scooter for a few weeks, before upgrading to a medical boot.  Now he is walking without any aid from a medical device. Paschal has been working out in the Joe Craft Football Training Facility since shortly after undergoing surgery.  There is no timetable for a potential return to the football field this season, however, if he is healthy enough to play in 2018, Paschal could be used in pass rushing situations in four games without losing a year of eligibility.
