Antonio Reeves is your Big Blue Madness 3-Point Champion

After making their elaborate entrances into Rupp Arena and warming up a bit on the court, Kentucky’s men’s team began its portion of Big Blue Madness with a 3-Point Contest to entertain the fans.
Four Wildcats participated in the shoot-out; among them was defending champion CJ Fredrick who was scheduled to shoot first until he reminded organizers of his past-champion status and requested the second slot in the rotation. Newcomer Antonio Reeves shot first instead and Reeves’ opening score of 19 was the eventual winner in the one-round contest.
Fredrick and Jacob Toppin finished in a tie for second in front of freshman Chris Livingston, the new athletic forward on the team, in fourth. Livingston and Toppin also participated in the dunk contest.
