 

In a statement today, Mark Stoops acknowledged that Ashley Lowery will play in Kentucky's season opener against Western. "We'll punish him when and if these charges come about," Stoops said, adding that there are still a lot of unknowns about Lowery's incident.

 

Stoops also added that he sees no reason to name a starting quarterback before the opener- but I'm sure that won't keep everyone from speculating. Both quarterbacks will play in the game.
