Kentucky is finalist for 4-star defensive back Avery Stuart

Kentucky has been making some significant recruiting noise in Alabama. That continued on Friday with blue-chip recruit Avery Stuart.
The Montgomery (Ala.) Alabama Christian Academy defensive back trimmed his list of schools down to six, and Kentucky was part of the group along with Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, and Michigan State.
Avery Stuart is the No. 209 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Auburn is listed as the current favorite in Stuart’s recruitment with a 41.6 percent chance to land the four-star prospect. Kentucky is the next closest finalist in the RPM.

Stuart made a trip to Kentucky back in March as the prospect checked in on the Wildcats during spring practice as safeties coach Frank Buffano is leading the recruiting efforts for Kentucky. Stuart is a prospect with positional versatility thanks to good size (6-2, 175).
Kentucky is continuing its strong recruiting pitch in the south as the program is battling for some premium prospects. The next goal will be to get Stuart on campus for an official visit to give the Wildcats a chance to close strong in another battle that could be brewing with Auburn.
Recruiting never stops.
