Awesome or Weird: A Golden Chicken Bone Necklace

The imagery and history of Kentucky is defined by bourbon, horse racing, My Old Kentucky Home, corvettes and Colonel Sanders' chicken......bones dipped in gold???
Yesterday the good people at Kentucky for Kentucky launched a new piece of merchandise, a 14k gold plated chicken wang necklace. These necklaces were made from KFC chicken wings from the New Circle Rd. and Boardwalk location, before being dipped in gold. The 20 necklaces priced at $130 (or $160 for the larger) sold out in four hours.
I was told by my freshman Algebra I teacher that whenever I came to an overwhelming problem to repeat, "Ain't no thang, but a chicken wang, on a strang." I had never seen this phenomenon before and can only assume that a golden chicken wang on a strang is still applicable.
So what do you think BBN, awesome or weird?
