Bam Adebayo did not beat Kobayashi in the burger-eating contest
Bam Adebayo may be a great basketball player, but he is not a good competitive eater.
As expected, Bam’s team lost the Burger Fi burger-eating charity challenge to competitive eating legend Takeru Kobayashi, but it wasn’t just a loss, it was a blowout. In five minutes, Bam finished one burger to Kobayashi’s TWENTY. His team, which also included former NFL star Russell Maryland, managed to eat eight altogether.
“Bro, this is not my profession,” Bam told Heat beat writer Ira Winderman. “I’ll be ready to throw up right now. He came out strong in the second half.”
