The bizarre, cross-sport event will be held on Wednesday as part of Hunger Action Month in South Florida. They will be joined by former NFL star Russell Maryland in the competition. According to the story in the Sun Sentinel, Adebayo and Maryland will each attempt to eat six BurgerFi single cheeseburgers, while Kobayashi will attempt to eat 18 single cheeseburgers in five minutes. Each consumed cheeseburger will raise $100 toward the cause. Speaking of Bam, he has been on UK's campus a lot lately. He paid a visit to the basketball team over at the Joe Craft Center almost two weeks ago, and was back in Lexington to watch the UK-Florida football game this past Saturday night. In between those visits, the Heat exercised the fourth-year option on Adebayo's contract, giving him another $5.1 million to remain with the team in 2020-21. He will be Miami's starting center this upcoming season.
