Barion Brown receives invite to Senior Bowl
The Senior Bowl is the most popular showcase event for the NFL Draft that will feature some of the best players in college football down in Mobile for a week for practice and an all-star game. During the event at South Alabama’s football facility, every NFL team will be in attendance as the draft season unofficially gets rolling in January. Kentucky will be represented at the event again by tailback Seth McGowan. He will be joined by a former Kentucky player.
Barion Brown received his official invite to the event on Monday.
The former top-100 recruit out of Nashville (Tenn.) Pearl-Cohn spent three seasons with Kentucky before moving to LSU in 2025. Barion Brown was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2023 as he led college football with three kickoff return touchdowns. However, Brown did not meet high expectations as a junior in 2024. After a tough season in Lexington, Brown entered the transfer portal last December and landed at LSU. The former blue-chip recruit finished his senior season with a career-high 52 receptions for for 495 yards and one touchdown. Brown did not record a kick return touchdown for the first time in his carrer.

Barion Brown leaves college football with 174 career receptions for 2,023 yards and 14 total touchdowns (12 receiving, 2 rushing). Brown also had five career kickoff return touchdowns. That special teams value could lock up a selection for the former Kentucky wideout in the 2026 NFL Draft.
