[caption id="attachment_235425" align="aligncenter" width="502"] Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports[/caption] In the wake of the All-Star starters being announced yesterday afternoon, and hearing that fellow former Kentucky Wildcat big men DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis were named, Karl-Anthony Towns must have felt a little chip on his shoulder for being the one dominant big man from Lexington left out. Taking on the Houston Rockets, a team that is just a few games ahead of them in the Western Conference standings, the Minnesota Timberwolves fell by the score of 116-98. It wasn't the usual suspects for the Rockets that killed the Wolves, as Chris Paul had 19 points and James Harden was held to 10. However, big production out of Eric Gordon off the bench with 30 points and seven made 3s, as well as, Clint Capela with 20 points, proved to be too much for Minnesota to handle. The loss shouldn't fall on the shoulders of Towns though, as he had another big game. Big KAT finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals in 37 minutes. Another double-double in the books for Towns, as he continues to lead the league in that stat. He's now scored a double-double in 39 of the 47 games this season. Not far behind Towns is DeMarcus Cousins holding the second place slot with 34 double-doubles in 44 games. Not to mention the incredible on-ball defense Towns played on this possession against Chris Paul. Numbers:   [table id=99 /]   Highlights: Schedule:
