BBNBA: Wall and Bledsoe go head-to-head

[caption id="attachment_235247" align="aligncenter" width="320"] (Photo by Ned Dishman/NBAE via Getty Images)[/caption] Recap The one-time Kentucky backcourt of John Wall and Eric Bledsoe went head-to-head Monday night with no shortage of excitement. Wall went for 27 points and nine assists while Bledsoe dropped in 23 points. Both were easily the two best former-Wildcats in action on Monday with the Milwaukee Bucks pulling it out in the end. Something to monitor as well, Jodie Meeks inconsistency this season is starting to catch up with him. He fell out of the rotation for the second time in three games. His 30.8 3-point percentage is currently the lowest of his career. For a Wizards team that desperately needs all the bench help they can get (especially from behind the perimeter), Meeks has to play better overall. He was brought in to be a key member off the bench but hasn't performed to his ability thus far. Enes Kanter from the New York Knicks has also been battling for minutes. He played only nine minutes Monday night after playing 36 minutes the night before. Kanter's minutes have been fluctuating rather drastically for a player of his caliber over the last three or so weeks. When asked about his lack of minutes, Kanter said "I guess coach said I played a lot of minutes (the day before), so he thought that I was tired. But I was pretty good, and I didn't really feel tired." It's odd that Kanter is playing fewer minutes lately considering the Knicks have an extremely limited roster. His defense has always been an issue, but his offense is dangerous enough to warrant playing time, especially next to an excellent defender such as Kristaps Porzingis. Kanter hasn't played one minute in seven of the Knicks' last 11 fourth quarters. Check out the rest of the stats and highlights below. Over the last two weeks, there hasn't been a single player putting up the kind of numbers that Davis has. Over the last eight games he's played, Davis is averaging 32 points, 10.6 rebounds, and a normal 2.5 blocks per game. He put up 48 in his last game against the Brooklyn Nets and has scored more than 30 in six of his last eight games. He's been unstoppable lately and he'll ride his success to a fifth straight All-Star appearance where he'll likely start next to teammate DeMarcus Cousins.
