There is not much else to say about Will Levis’s debut that hasn’t already been said, but in case you were still in hiding after the Kentucky football loss on Sunday (or just out enjoying your day with no thought of sports like most people), Will Levis lit it up for the Tennessee Titans, throwing four touchdowns in his first career start.

That’s right. Four. Touchdowns.

After the game, Levis called the experience a dream come true. Yeah, I’d say so.

On top of the great stats, the Titans got the victory over the Atlanta Falcons 28-23. It is also important to note that the Falcons aren’t exactly a sieve when it comes to defending. They are the only team ranked in the top 10 in both pass and rush defense and have the third-best defense overall.

Barring a major change, Levis will start again when the Titans play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. If he performs well again, head coach Mike Vrabel will have a decision to make when Ryan Tannehill gets healthy. It is rare for a starting quarterback to lose his job midseason due to an injury, but Tannehill had just two touchdowns through six games this season. Will Levis had four touchdowns in one.

According to PFF, Levis’s 7.1 percent big-time throw rate was the best by a rookie quarterback this past week and tied for the fourth-best this season. Additionally, he became the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for four touchdowns, zero interceptions, and at least 225 yards with more than a 65 percent completion percentage. The last former Kentucky quarterback to throw four touchdowns was George Blanda back in 1964.

Hats off to Will Levis.

Josh Allen racks up two more sacks for the Jaguars

Josh Allen is a bad man. The edge rusher for Jacksonville helped the Jags beat the Steelers on Sunday, adding two more tally marks in the sack column along the way. Allen now has nine sacks on the year through just eight games, good for second-most in the league behind only Danielle Hunter of the Minnesota Vikings.

Allen is now just 1.5 sacks away from claiming the all-time franchise record, a milestone that feels inevitable at this point.

Jacksonville is riding a five-game winning streak and sits atop the AFC South with a 6-2 record as the team looks to make the playoffs for only the third time since 2007.
